To me, jewelry is the cherry on top of an ice cream sundae...
You can make a simple outfit look stunning with the addition of a few pieces of jewelry. In researching ethical fashion, I found several companies that have beautiful jewelry that's handmade by artisans around the world. And it’s super affordable too! I love that a purchase of an ethically made piece of jewelry is a wonderful way to change lives around the world and help break the cycle of poverty for many people in third world countries.
One company whose products I love is Mata Traders. Their goal is to improve the conditions of workers in Nepal and India. I love their gorgeous silver wind and water bracelet! It also comes in gold and copper and has a matching ring in all three color options too!
Another company I love that I’ve talked about before (here) is Fair Trade Winds. I love what they stand for and their products are so beautiful and stylish! They also have clothing, bags, journals, cards and more featured on their site. These silver leaf studs are my go to for a casual look!
I'm hoping the silver ones will be back in stock soon but thankfully they have them in gold too!
You can also use jewelry to add a fun pop of color to your outfits. Fair Trade Winds has a beautiful collection of cute and colorful pieces made from upcycled saris. How creative is that!?! I am also loving these classy mother-of-pearl triangle studs from the Starfish Project! The sale of one of these pair of earrings is equal to one week of counseling for a girl rescued out of sex trafficking.
Making conscious choices to buy from companies that are making a difference in the world is a beautiful way to love people.
Glad to hear from you Jordan! Yes, I agree! I thought they were super cute in gold too! You're welcome!
I know that question was for Marsha but I typically like silver-however those earrings in gold are perfect! Thanks for doing the research on these companies!
Thank you so much! I love silver jewelry the best! What about you?
Love that bracelet!!
Thank you so much Jeffrey Reed! I appreciate it :)
