Organic Loungewear!

One of my favorite things in life is lounging around my house in super comfortable clothes...

Therefore, in my search for fair fashion companies, I knew I had to find one that made loungewear.

Thankfully, my friends Jordan and Cass told me about Pact apparel. I love Pact because all of their cotton is GOTS certified (Curious about what that means? Learn more here.) and most of their factories are Fair Trade certified [important to note: the two that are not Fair Trade certified are the factory used to make socks and the baby/toddler factory. The good news is that the former is working towards a Fair Trade certification, and the latter is switching to a Fair Trade facility this year!].

So wait…why is organic cotton important, you ask? Great question! I wondered the same thing; I’m not eating my t-shirt, so why should I worry about the fibers being organic? One of the things The True Cost opened my eyes to was the effect that pesticides were having on both farmers and farming communities. I began to realize that even the fabric of the clothes I buy really do—for better or for worse—impact people in such a tangible way.

Pact is super affordable and their clothes are very comfortable! Their leggings are two for $30 right now!!! Also, my Classic Zip Hoodie is on sale for $28 right now!! Check them out and let me know in the comments what some of your favorite ethical loungewear companies are!

*This post is not sponsored by Pact. I purchased everything and genuinely love their products :)

Well I don’t “love” the harmful effects of pesticides but I love the information! I hadn’t no idea it caused all those things!
